JROTC Cadet Codes

As a cadet:

1. My goals are to be self-reliant, to achieve high moral values, to develop leadership and citizenship skills, to be patriotic, and to show respect for constituted authority.

2. I must learn to follow before I can learn to lead.

3. I am 100% responsible for everything I do or fail to do.

4. I will be personally correct before I try to correct others.

5. I will never lie, cheat, steal, nor bring discredit upon the corps of cadets.

 

Seaside JROTC Color Guard

Commander: C/1LT Reed

 

Color Guard:

    1. Color Guard Commander is appointed by the Battalion Commander and must be approved by the SAI/AI.

    2. The commander will be allowed to appoint one or two assistant commanders with the approval of the SAI/AI.

    3. Team members will be issued a red beret and boots. This gear may be worn on uniform days. White gloves, ascots, and white belts are worn during performances.

    4. To be awarded a color guard ribbon (N-3-6) and certificate, a cadet must have attended practices and participated in at least one performance for the semester.

    5. To be awarded the Color Gurad rocker, cadets must attend practice, earn the color guard ribbon (N-3-6) and participate in 2 performances during the school year. (Total performances can be carried over from the 1st and 2nd semester.)
